Pyrrole Red Tulipsby ~davepuls

"Tulips" painted from my imagination. Acrylic painting done with painting knives. Cryla acrylic paint, 8x8 inches on stretched canvas.

"Pyrrole Red" is simply the colour of paint used for the tulips. Photo lit with strong sunlight, to bring out the texture. The sky is supposed to be a bit Van Gogh.

The painting only took 30 minutes, but I am hoping to do some more like this as I develop my style. Please do let me know what you think!

No, not expensive - maybe about £3 each, for a metal bladed one (better than the plastic ones). You only really need a couple - maybe one large and one small.
