More impasto flowers, but this one is very experimental in that I have used a lot of gold and silver iridescent paint. It is 12x9 inches, Cryla acrylics on canvas board, all painted with a knife, and with tiny plastic beads embedded in the wet acrylic. It is an imaginary flower landscape - intended to be like sunflowers but didn't quite turn out that way! Colours used were: Ultramarine, zinc white, bismuth yellow, phthalo turquoise, rich gold, pale gold, silver. It is photographed in strong evening sunshine to bring out the heavy texture.
Please let me know what you think.
