Carmine Tulips

Third in my "Tulips" series. 8x8 inches acrylic on canvas. Entirely painted with pallet knives. An imagined field of tulips - "Carmine" is just the colour of paint I used on the flowers.

I am still trying out my impasto technique. Some of the ridges in this are 3mm deep!
